Adaptations
Adaptations are attributes that enable plants and animals to survive and reproduce in the environment. When considering the behavioral and structural adaptations of plants and animals, it is useful to consider what a plant or animal needs in order to survive. For plants, these needs are sunlight, water and nutrients. For animals the needs are food, water and cover.
